Welshpool Vs Cardiff – Postponed

Cardiff City’s quarter-final FAW Premier Cup clash against Welshpool Towm, originally scheduled for tonight, has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.


Heavy rain in mid-Wales has seen the Maesydre pitch take on huge amounts of water, and an inspection at 1000am today confirmed that the pitch was unplayable.


The game will now be played next week, on Tuesday 15th January with Cardiff City again expected to field an under-strength side and hand their youngsters a chance to impress.
