Cardiff City target Aaron Davies is not letting speculation of a step up affect him and would be happy to remain at current club Yeovil Town.

The Bluebirds had been linked with a move for the tricky midfielder and Yeovil’s failure to win promotion (they lost 2-0 to Blackpool in the play-off final) could tempt the player to make the step up to Championship level.

At the moment however, Davies is happy where he is and is not reading too much into the speculation:

‘I’ve got a contract for next season, although obviously I’m aware of the speculation in Wales and a story in one of the newspapers.’

‘It’s good to be linked with teams like that, but I’ve got a contract at Yeovil and I will honour it unless the chairman or the gaffer tells me otherwise. It’s just paper talk at the moment.’

don’t want him anyway, he’s not good enough to take us into the premiership.
