Cardiff City’s out-of-favour midfielder Willo Flood has moved on loan to Dundee United on a season-long loan. The player arrived at Cardiff City seeking regular first team football, but he has failed to establish himself in Dave Jones team despite some tidy perfromances.

Flood was named on the retained list so appears to have a future at Ninian Park, however, he needs competitive football under his belt and will get that chance this season with the Tangerines.

Flood has also attracted interest from his home country (Ireland) but St Pats Athletic missed out on their man who will now play SPL football next season.
