Cardiff City are reportedly keen to recruit Tunisian midfielder Tijani Belaid before the transfer window closes, but face competition from the Premier League with Blackpool and Wigan Atheltic also keen.

Belaid is a former Inter Milan prospect, and now plays in the Czech Republic for Slavia Prague.

The 22 year old midfielder has expressed a desire to move into UK football, and a number of clubs have expressed an initial interest. However, Sky Sports understands that Slavia Prague favour a loan deal meaning he is less likely to end up as a Bluebird, since we already have 5 loan players and are prevented from naming more than this in any matchday squad.

Typical transfer rumour, but not that likely.

well we can’t get him on loan because we got the maximum loan’s
and he’s not on a free and we haven’t got a lot of money so it’s basically impossible to sign him. but the article claims that you can’t have more than 5 players in a match day squad well we could bring him in on loan but we would have to drop a loan player from the bench like drinkwater can it work like that.
