Cardiff City’s manager Dave Jones has added another interest in Cardiff City’s future by investing some of his personal money in shares of the football club.
The former Southampton and Wolves manager has recently invested a ‘5-figure sum’ in the club which can only serve to underline his belief and commitment to the club’s future success.
‘I`m here to do a job and that job is to take this club to the Premiership. I also have now an added interest in its future.’
‘What annoys me most is people start saying that I don`t care about this club, that is so wrong.’
‘I believe in what is going on here and the plans for the future.’
‘I would invest like anybody else would and there is nothing wrong with that.’
Early in the season, Dave was strongly linked with a move to West Brom but remained faithful to the Bluebirds. He has the backing of the board, and if their ambition matches his own then we should see Cardiff City in the Premiership in the not too distant future.
