Darren Purse reflects on Wednesday’s loss to Liverpool and says why the Bluebirds’ detractors should give them more credit.

We haven`t played badly at all this year. But we are having some bad luck at the moment; making silly mistakes and losing our concentration when we are on top of games. In the league we have been creating loads of chances and scoring goals, but if you score two or three goals you should be sealing the game off. We aren`t doing that at the moment, we just aren`t defending well enough.’

‘We’ve come in for a bit of criticism though. The manager has been coming under a lot of pressure. I don`t think it’s from the boardroom, but more from the press. They seem to be getting on his back a lot. They have got to get on someone’s back. They just seem to be looking at all the negatives rather than the positives. They’ve got a job to do, but you just wish sometimes it was a bit more encouraging.’

we cant be demanding saying we deserve credit, because all we did is lose 2-1 to a average rated liverpool team. we did good and i am proud, but lower teams always play better against a big team. so they get credit only start getting some results. more 3 points and less 1 and 0 point games
