Cardiff City midfielder Paul Parry is back with the Bluebirds after ongoing talks with Preston North End manager Alan Ervine failed to reach a conclusion.

The Lilywhites have agreed a fee of £300k with City for Parry, who has a year left on his current deal. He has been offered a 3 year deal but is as yet undecided and 50:50 on the move.

Parry is unsure whether he wants to leave Cardiff and believes he has un-finished business after admitted to a poor showing last season. He will continue to consider his future and speak again with Irvine today.

Either way, this deal must be concluded soon. Every moment of indecision costs both clubs the chance to move on other targets and finalise their squads for this season. Parry at his best remains a threat in this division, Preston’s interest is a testament to that so if he stays – it’s no huge blow – we do need to know soon though.
