There is no official announcement as of yet on the official site, but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed his final moves in the transfer market this window.

Speaking to Sky Sports OGS confirmed that Fabio da Silva and Kenwyne Jones would be joining today, but there was a little more to do on the loan move for Wilfried Zaha, but when that was completed that would be the end of his moves this window to strengthen the squad.

Obviously that hasn’t stopped continued speculation with the likes of Tom Ince and Ivan Ramis from still making headlines.

da Silva and Jones were set to train with the boys for the first time today after their deals were apparently officially completed yesterday.

da Silva joins us from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee after undergoing a medical yesterday at St George’s Park alongside striker Jones, who joins us in a swop move that sees Peter Odemwingie move in the opposite direction to Stoke City.

‘Fabio and Kenwyne will join training today, so that’s more or less done. Zaha is not completed so we cannot confirm that, but we hope to get that done in the next 24 hours so we can be ready for the weekend, but you never know with all the ins and outs, but I think that’s me completed.’

Well I read that to mean there are other deals in the pipeline, but that they don’t look likely to come off. There are a few days left though, and so I don’t think we can categorically say we might not have another arrival – seems OGS is playing the ‘never say never’ game, even if it is unlikely.
