Cardiff City’s pair of Warren Feeney and Tony Capaldi have both been selected by Nigel Worthington for the Euro 2008 wualifying match against Liechtenstein on Wednesday 22nd August.

The game falls in a busy period for Cardiff City and the players will leave to join up with the Northern Irish squad after an away trip to QPR. The Euro midweek tie is played on a Wednesday, giving the duo little time to recover before a home match against Coventry City for the Bluebirds.

Capaldi was a regular started at left back under previous boss Lawrie Sanchez, and will be hoping to earn his 22nd cap while Feeney, a striker, has made 16 appearances and will be looking for his third goal.

Both players are unsure of a starting place for both club and country and will be looking to prove themselves at every opportunity.

Congratulations to both players.
