Cardiff City forgotten man Warren Feeney remains a Bluebird for the time being but seems almost certain to move on this summer after failing to make any impression at the club.

An initial loan signing, Feeney has played just a handful of games for City before productive loan spells with Swansea City and Dendee United. He has done well for both those sides but has always looked short of confidence and lacking a clinical finish in his appearances for Cardiff City.

Dave Jones could yet decided Feeney, a regular Northern Ireland international, would provide cover for Bothroyd, Chopra and McCormack – he would return as something of a new signing. However, more likely is that Feeney would be allowed to move for a relatively low fee.

Norwich City, Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Glasgow Rangers have all been linked with possible moves for the player.
