West Bromwich Albion’s on loan midfielder Jason Koumas has dropped a broad hint that he won’t be returning to The Hawthornes.

The Welsh midfielder fell from grace after failing to impress Robson was sent on loan to Cardiff, and by the looks of things, he believes he is happy to stay.

Koumas said:

‘Things are going really well for me. I’m just really excited to be playing a whole season. I’ve three years left at West Brom but I’m really enjoying it here. I’ve no idea why it didn’t work out at West Brom – you’d have to ask Bryan Robson.’

He adds:

‘But I’m trying to put all that behind me. I just want to be back in the Premiership and I’d love to do that with Cardiff.’

It is believed Jones will field the same side that beat Brighton on Saturday in the upcoming fixture against Preston.

Michael Ricketts, onloan from Leeds, is expected to keep his place despite Eire international Alan Lee scoring after replacing him in the last match.

Willie Boland is still out with a groin injury.

‘I’ve got one more year left with Feyenoord, but I like Cardiff very much and I hope my future is here, I prefer the British way to the Dutch way. It’s more my style of playing and I’m really enjoying it. That’s why I made the decision to come here, because it’s more my style. I knew what British football was like because I’ve played against British teams.’
