Glenn Loovens seems happy to quit Feyenoord and sign for Cardiff permanently.

The 22 year old has established himself in the centre of defence since joined on a season long loan and seems extremely happy at the club.

‘I’ve got one more year left with Feyenoord, but I like Cardiff very much and I hope my future is here, I prefer the British way to the Dutch way. It’s more my style of playing and I’m really enjoying it. That’s why I made the decision to come here, because it’s more my style. I knew what British football was like because I’ve played against British teams.’

  • It is believed Jones will field the same side that beat Brighton on Saturday in the upcoming fixture against Preston.

Michael Ricketts, onloan from Leeds, is expected to keep his place despite Eire international Alan Lee scoring after replacing him in the last match.

Willie Boland is still out with a groin injury.
