Cardiff City manager Dave Jones will wait until the last minute beofre making a decision on his strikeforce for tomorrow’s trip to play Ipswich Town after Jay Bothroyd tweaked a knee in the 2-2 draw with Burnley.

With top scorer Ross McCormack out with a hamstring problem, Michael Chopra will start and his partnership with Bothroyd looked dangerous on Tuesday night until Bothroyd was withdrawn.

Jay has been working with the medical team this week and has a decent chance of making the game. If he is not passed fit, that will hand another chance to USA international Eddie Johnson, the striker on loan from Fulham.

Johnson is picking up big wages from the Bluebirds but has shown little on the field. Clearly short of confidence, he has shown glimpses of promise but everyone is expecting more from the Fulham player and he wont get many more chances.
