Cardiff City host a much improved Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, we spoke to avid Donny fan Daz ahead of the game:

Must be safe from relegation – what are you season goals now?

Get to 52 points first then let`s see what happens, we are only nine points from the play offs! If we can repeat our run of nine wins in eleven games that might get us close.

Fantastic run for DRFC – what changed??

We started scoring goals, before that we were out playing teams but not finding the net.

What are your team strengths/weaknesses?

Strengths – We play good passing football and have a good defence for a team that was struggling up until Christmas.

Weaknesses – At times we overplay it in midfield, it can be a bit too ‘tippy tappy` which usually gives the opposition plenty of time to get men behind the ball.

Player to watch Saturday?

Richie Wellens – midfield, most of our creative play comes through him.

If you could have one Cardiff City player on a free – who and why?

Ross McCormack – We had him a few years ago on loan when he was only a kid, he`s certainly developed into a good striker. If we had someone all season who has scored the goals he had I am sure we would be close to the play offs.

Prediction for the game?

You are playing well at home so I think we will do well if we can come away with a draw, one thing I am sure is I can`t see it being a repeat of the last time we visited Ninian Park, or at least I hope not!!!

Another good win and six from six in the last two – onwards and upwards – think you’ll make the play-offs?

Play-off would be a dissapointment.Should reach automatic with no slip ups.
