Cardiff City have terminated the contract of veteran midfielder Kevin Cooper by mutual consent.
Yesterday was the last day Kevin could agree terms with another club whilst still under contract but the agreement sees him leave and as an uncontracted player, could offer his services to another club.
Cooper has barely featured for the first team in the past two seasons, loan spells at Walsall, Yeovil and Tranmere all failed to materialise into a permanent switch but Coops could still do an effective job in league 2.
