Everton manager David Moyes saw a late bid for Cardiff City star Joe Ledley turned down by the Bluebirds yesterday.
Interest in Ledley had coolled after Cardiff warned off potential suitors, however, Moyes felt that a last ditch attempt could pay off and has doubtless noticed Ledley’s recent performances which have been outstanding.
Whilst he was prepared to offer more than the £2.5m offered by Wolves previously, City wisely declined and now keep a full squad ready for an assault on the play-offs.
