In-form Cardiff City midfielder Paul Parry moved to top spot in the Actim Index – the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship – this week.
Parry posted a score of 14 points for his performance in the 2-1 defeat at Stoke, but it was still enough to take him above Liam Lawrence and Jonathan Walters.
The former Hereford playmaker has scored seven goals this season from 32 shots on target, and has provided eight assists for his team-mates who went through the whole of January unbeaten.

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
