Coventry City are the visitors to Ninian Park this saturday, with Cardiff City expecting another decent home crowd for the Championship encounter.

The Sky Blues have strengthened their ranks over the summer, including a former Cardiff loan player in the talented left winger Julian Gray. In addition, they added two Bluebirds targets in Dimi Konstantopolous and Leon Best while Michael Hughes and Arjan De Zeeuw are quality players and will surely make an impression.

Coventry City have enjoyed a good start to the season, a 4-1 opening day victory and 3-0 demolision of Notts County in the Carling Cup suggest an attacking team, who can score freely. A 1-1 draw with Hull City continued their unbeaten run with Nick Barmby snatching an equaliser for the Tigers.

Cardiff City look to have improved following a disappointing defeat to Stoke City and 1-0 win AET against Brighton. They played good football in both matches, but in safe areas of the field and failed to hurt their opposition. The Bluebirds followed that up with an impressive perfromance and 2-0 victory at QPR.

As well as refinding their scoring touch, Cardiff also have Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink available, the experienced striker having scored twice in a midweek friendly.

Cardiff took 4 points from the other CCFC last season, Michael Chopra opening his Cardiff account with the winner early in the season.

Both clubs have strenthened over the summer, and both have aspirations of a play-off position come the end of the season.

Vital Cardiff City predicts a 2-1 for the Bluebirds, whilst others seem to think a draw is more likely. Click here to leave your prediction.
