Cardiff City’s experienced winger Trevor Sinclair has been ruled out of action for another month as he continues his absence from first team action.

After a decent start to his Cardiff City career, Sinclair looked assured and likely, Sinclair lost his place to the added pace of Paul Parry – then picked up a knee injury, which has kept him out for around a month already.

Dave Jones confirmed the set-back, telling the South Wales Echo:

‘Trevor`s knee flared up again and he went back in for more surgery.’

“The doctors feel that will sort things out and Trevor will be back with us in three or four weeks.”

It would have been useful to have Sinclair over the busy Christmas period but it is more likely to be mid-January before the former Manchester City wideman is ready for first team action.
