POLL OPEN TO VOTE FOR YOUR CHOICE

Gone is the fast-flowing, free-moving football that yielded so many goals and points. Now we are face with slow, negative football and a lack of confidence and ambition with few willing to take responsibility and drive the team forwards.

Many have called for changes to the team, to bring Cardiff City from their current slump, we now have a lot more squad depth than earlier in the season – but who should be dropped….?

We take a look at the likely suspects:

Michael Chopra
The forward is out-of-form at present and when he struggles, CCFC struggle. Always full of effort and can always be a threat.

Stephen McPhail
Does he contribute enough? Sure, some nice touches and passes – but those are going astray these days and he still doesnt look like ever scoring.

Paul Parry
A left-footer playing on the right, opposition defences seem to have sussed him – he always cuts inside! Has lost his cutting edge and now only has pace as a weapon.

Joe Ledley
Undoubtedly talented but playing out of position has looked short on confidence and a little jaded. Reluctant to take players on, and rarely stamps authority on the game.

Kevin McNaughton
The consistent Scot has been shunted all over the place this season, but mistakes in recent games have cost City. His miscontrolled allowed Burnley an early lead and doubts over his strength and assertiveness may linger.

Players like Willo Flood, Steve Thompson, Chris Gunter, Darcy Blake, Jason Byrne and Matt Green are waiting in the wings for their chance – but who is to make way?
