Cardiff City have effectively a full roster to select from for the game with Peter Odemwingie (thigh) and Aron Gunnarsson (bruised leg) were both passed fit to feature following minor injuries. Even better news for the Bluebirds is the return of big money striker Andreas Cornelius after a lengthy ankle injury.

Once again the key options for Malky Mackay will come in central midfield with Kim, Whittingham, Mutch, Gunnarsson and Don Cowie competing for three positions in front of Gary Medel.

The other dilemma comes in attack with one of Bellamy, Campbell or Odemwingie set to miss out – assuming that Cornelius will likely feature from the bench if at all.

Manchester United have a number of players missing and have Michael Carrick (Achilles) and Phil Jones (groin strain) ruled out of the midfield.

However, more recent withdrawals include the key duo of Robin van Persie (toe) and Nemanja Vidic (concussion) – neither has travelled to South Wales and are being saved by Moyes ahead of the midweek Euro fixtures.

Despite a persistent wrist complaint, Marouane Fellaini looks likely to feature, his second visit to CCS this season after appearing in the 0-0 draw with Everton prior to his switch to the Red Devils.
