In one week’s time, to the day, something close to 33000 Cardiff City fans will travel by road or rail to the famous Wembley stadium for a hotly anticipated FA Cup semi-final against Barnsley.
Tickets have been selling well, much of the allocation has been sold while the tickets are now being opened up to more Cardiff fans.
There will be rail work underway in the Severn tunnel meaning that trains will be replaced by bus services or re-routed via Gloucester. In addition, there will be a tube strike in place following the game making returning to South Wales a problem.
Before that game, Cardiff City must face one of the other FA Cup semi-finalists prior to that with a midweek game against West Bromwich.
