Vital Cardiff City this week spoke to Wolverhampton Wanderers fan ‘Wolfie Smith’ ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup clash:

Much has been made about the travel arrangements – your thoughts?

I’m not sure its necessary, I was at Ninian Park when we lost 4-0 last year – there was some aggressive chanting etc but nothing major. Never really thought there was a particular problem between the two clubs but I’m sure it won’t inconvenience any of our fans too much. I go with the family and anything that makes them feel safer is fine with me, even if the coach takes longer to get there!

How’s your season turning out?

Infuriatingly inconsistent. We hammered Watford in the cup, then they hammered us in the league. We’ve scored some narrow victories but a lotof draws and we never seem to beat the good teams or carry on our momentum.

Cup run or play-off place?

The league has always been the priority, I’m sure we’ll be there or there abouts come the end of the season but while a cup run would be nice – i’d hate to miss out on play-offs because we had extra cup games to play.

If you could have one Cardiff player on a free, who and why?

Happy with our midfield, and you dont have any strikers so for me, it would have to be a defender and since I’m not overly convinced by Breen and Ward together I’d like Roger Johnson. He looks a capable defender as well as being a goof footballing centre-back.

Wolves player to watch and why?

Andy Keogh is in decent form up-front, if we can get the ball to him he can do damage. I do worry about his partnership with Ebanks-Blake though.

Prediction for the game?

A draw would be unfortunate, so that’s what it will be. 2-2 and a replay at Molineux – you’re all banned too!
