Cardiff City ‘Head of Recruitment’ Iain Miidy is the subject of interest from West Bromwich Albion who are looking to add the former Watford man to their own player recruitment team.

Moody was ‘Head of Operations’ with Watford, but quickly accepted an offer from Malky Mackay to follow him to South Wales. Moody became Head of Player Recruitment for the Bluebirds and one of Mackay’s first tasks was to set Moody up in an adjacent office – the pair speak daily to plan for every player eventuality and Mooday is key to the rigorous scouting and player dossier philosophy under Mackay.

Moody plays a big role in negotiating with agents on the club’s behalf, and is considered a crucial member of the backroom staff. If Moody is keen on ther switch, West Brom will need to pay City a sizable compensation. Hopefully, he will not want to move again and will see his future in the Premeirship next season – with Cardiff City.
