Cardiff City’s promising young duo of Darcy Blake and Aaron Ramsey have been called up to the Wales U21s squad for the Euro 2009 qualifier against Malta to be played on February 5.
Both players have been on the fringe of the Cardiff City first team squad recently, with Ramsey featuring prominently in the 3-1 FA Cup victory against Chasetown, while Blake played most of the 3-3 away draw at league leaders West Brom.
‘Rambo’ is set to feature in tonight’s FAW Premier Cup clash for the Bluebirds, but versatile Darcy Blake is suspended after collecting 2 yellow cards in City’s FAW Cup run last season.
