Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is ready to continue his major recontstruction of the Bluebirds squad by finalising moves for two more players, with further exits making room on the CCFC wage bill.

The likes of Tom Heaton, Martin John and Lee Naylor have joined, while loan moves for Danny Drinkwater, Craig Bellamy, Andy Keogh, Seyi Olofinjana and Jason Koumas have given the Bluebirds squad a stong look.

Amongst those likely to leave are Gavin Rae and Ross McCormack, with a loan move a strong possibility for Sol Taiwo. However, Jones is still keen to bring in new faces at CCS and told the SW Echo:

“I expect to bring one in fairly quickly, and possibly another after that.”

“There will also be players going out.”

One of those playerc could be ex-Middlesbrough centre-back Chris Riggott who has been training with City this week. The injury plagued 29 year old has good pedigree but must prove his fitness to Dave Jones and Sean Connelly before a free transfer deal will be completed.
