Triple Injury Blow For Cardiff City

Cardiff City are sweating on the fitness of three players highly likely to feature in the matchday squad for tonight’s game against Hull City.


Riccy Scimeca started the last league game against Crystal Palace but has picked up a leg problem and could miss out.


Kevin McNaughton hobbled off in the final few minutes against Middlesbrough. There is no like for like replacement in the squad so Trevor Inclair or Darcy Blake would cover. McNaughton stretched his hamstring but could recover in time to play.


Another doubt is on-loan goalkeeper Peter Enckelman. Having conceeded just 2 goals in 6 games (including one bizarre own goal), the stopper has a back problem and may be forced to pull out. Michael Oakes is on stand-by to replace him.



Add to that the longer-term injuries to Joe Ledley (nearing a return) and Robbie Fowler and Warren Feeney and Cardiff could well do without any more set-backs.
