Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was understandably dissappointed and frustrated
after seeing his sides dismal form continue in stumbling to a 1-0 defeat at a team we should really be beating:

‘We were toothless against Queens Park Rangers.’

‘Some of the young players have run their course, they have nothing left to give, they are not physically tired, but they are mentally tired.’

‘We missed chances and that’s what our season has been like since January. We have not stepped up to the plate.’

QPR boss John Gregory paid tribute to his players after the important vvictory:

‘They’ve constantly been trying to get out of the relegation zone and have shown unbelievable character, determination, courage and resolve.’

‘More than anything, a spirit in the dressing room is what has got us out of trouble.’
