Cardiff City will be forced into a midfield re-shuffle after injuries to Joe Ledley and Peter Whittingham. Parry will move to the left while there is likely to be a debut for Wayne Routledge on the right.
McCormack and Bothroyd are both still out, but nearing returns while Riccy Scimeca makes a welcome return to the squad. Teenage midfielder Aaron Wildig will travel but Tony Capaldi remains out with a knee injury.
For Plymouth Argyle, there will be a tough decision for Paul Sturrock in attack with Paul Gallagher returning after a ban – Mpenza, Mackie and MacLean are all hoping for a start.
Full-baack David McNamee has returned to training following a thigh injury but is not expected to feature while Krisztian Timar could return to the Pilgrims bench. Former Bluebird Simon Walton could also return after missing the previous game to be at the birth of his first child – although the midfielder is out of favour at Home Park.
