Kenwyne Jones is leaving Cardiff this month, he’s finalising his impending exit, but Wales Online is reporting that only a ‘silly money’ offer will tempt the Bluebirds into parting with David Marshall this month.

Marshall was close to joining West Brom in the last transfer window with Everton credited with an interest in the Cardiff captain now the winter window has reopened.

A clear signal of intent to keep the Scottish international at the Cardiff City Stadium has seen the club ‘slapping’ a £10m valuation on him by all accounts.

The report went on to say that as much as the 30-year-old could be valued at around £6m ‘a senior source’ within the club sees him as ‘irreplaceable’ to the continued play-off bid with Russell Slade as keen to keep him so that silly money offer that would be accepted is £10m with it so far said no enquiry has been made by Everton despite the claims to the contrary.
