Cardiff City have announced their updated squad list for the forthcoming season but there are notable absences, hopefully to be filled with quality additions, and soon.
Numbers 8 and 9 have been left clear, presumably for the 2 new strikers we need to add. Robbie Fowler would certainly have taken the 8 shirt, and Marcus Bent presumably would have been allocated 9.
Peter Enckelman has been given the nod for the number 1 shirt ahead of Manchester United loan stopper Tom Heaton – number 13.
