Nice One Leicester City

Cardiff City fans will be pleased with tonight’s Championship result as Leicester City secured a great away win at high flying Southampton. The Foxes were more likely promotion candidates per-season but we and Southampton are the ones chasing the top two positions.

Nugent and Mills got the goals as the Foxes recorded a 2-0 away win at St Mary’s, where Southampton have been very impressive so far. That leaves the Saints in second place, but having wasted thei game in hand and making Conway’s late winner against Pompey look all the more valuable.

There’s plenty of time for under-performing Leicester to join the pack, and given this performance and their recent signings- they will surely push on and challenge. However, tonight’s result was a good one for Cardiff City.
