Cardiff City manager Dave Jones thought we were good value for the win, and mentioned the intense pressure he could feel at Wolves:

‘The way Wolves are at the moment, when we got the second goal you could feel the tension. You could smell it around the place and you could sense the fans were getting really nervous. I couldn’t see them scoring in the second half and the longer it went on the more the crowd were getting disgruntled.’

‘When you’re trying to get out of this division, the tension grows. The prize is so great.’

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy believed his side deserved the point and bemoaned his side’s inability to convert chances in the first half:

‘Perhaps we did deserve that stroke of luck, to be honest. We made two errors which cost us a couple of goals, but I admired the way the lads kept going and in the end we did deserve a share of the spoils.’

‘You can’t win a game in the first half hour, but I was disappointed we were not further ahead. We had a very good first half.’
