Ledley misses out on award

Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley came 2nd in the Powerade player of the month after Southampton’s Gareth Bale.

Ledley currently leads the OPTA stats index for top Championship player but was pipped to the award by the promising 17 year old left back. Ex-Bluebird Robert Earnshaw came 3rd to mean an all Welsh top 3 in the Championship
