Tonight’s match between Cardiff City and Derby County looks likely to be the last ever evening game at Ninian Park with the Bluebirds already preparing to move over the road to our swanky new stadium.
There are no more games sceduled for evening kick-offs this season although there could be a possibility of one more game should we reach the play-off semi-finals.
Many Cardiff City fans will have memories of many a night in the cold, sometimes among crowds as low as 3000. Only this season have evening games attracted decent crowds amid out last Ninian Park season, with a high number of season-ticket holders and a promotion chasing season.
Hopefully we can get a win to send the rusted old floodlights out in style…
