One Change For Cardiff City To Face Derby

Cardiff City will surely make one change as the prepare to face Derby County tonight with Gabor Gyepes recalled to centre-half after serving his unfortunate suspension. He will return in place of Darren Purse who this week spoke out about his contract frustrations at the club.


City have few injury problems but could make any number of changes to freshen up the midfield. Ross MCCormack must play and with Chopra and Bothroyd up-fron – Rosco may feature on the wing. Gavin Rae is pushing for a recall while Chris Burke, Peter Whittingham, Paul Parry and Quincy are all in contention for the remaining wide position!


For Derby County, midfielders Kris Commons and Stephen Pearson face late fitness tests but are expected to feature while top scorer Rob Hulse is also a doubt.


Derby County have Welshmen Robbie Savage and Lewin Nyatanga hoping to play.
