Cardiff City have completed the signing of goalkeeper Lee Worgan.

The Welsh under 21 international has been on trial with Cardiff and impressed manager Dave Jones with his displays in the reserves.

Wogan will now stake a claim against Alexander and Margetson for a first team place.

  • It is believed Jones will field the same side that beat Brighton on Saturday in the upcoming fixture against Preston.

Michael Ricketts, onloan from Leeds, is expected to keep his place despite Eire international Alan Lee scoring after replacing him in the last match.

Willie Boland is still out with a groin injury.

  • ‘I’ve got one more year left with Feyenoord, but I like Cardiff very much and I hope my future is here, I prefer the British way to the Dutch way. It’s more my style of playing and I’m really enjoying it. That’s why I made the decision to come here, because it’s more my style. I knew what British football was like because I’ve played against British teams.’
