Cardiff City manager Dave Jones is expecting a professional performance and a win today as Cardiff bid to reach the 6th round of the FA Cup for the first time since 1927.

Dave Jones told the Western Mail:

“It does not matter how you do it, just get it done.”

“We are switched into our cup mode now and it is a very big game for us. It is a massive game really because of what is lying at the end of it.”

“Our fans will be expecting us to win and I guarantee the Wolves fans will be expecting them to win.”

“It is a big pot, you throw all the ingredients in and hope you come out with the right one.”

Today’s game is a completely different challenge for Cardiff after seeing off non-league oposition in Chasetown, and leage two Hereford United. This wil be their first game at home in the competition this season, while Wovlerhampton Wanderers have already played another Championship side in Watford – a game they won 4-1.

The downside is that both teams will be extremely evenly matched, only goal difference separates the sides in the league but form largely goes out of the window. The game could be tight and nervous but both sides want to win and an early goal could set up an FA Cup epic.
