Cardiff City have some injury concerns ahead of the difficult trip to face Hull City tomorrow with a number of first team players to be decided upon today or tomorrow.

The major doubt is influential midfielder Seyi Olofinjana who has a knee problem. Peter Whittingham or Steve McPhail are likely to partner Ramsey in midfield if the Nigerian is deemed unfit.

The Bluebirds will welcome back captain Craig Bellamy who is recovered from a stomach bug, as is striker Jay Bothroyd who was substituted against Leicester City. Michael Chopra has again declared himself fit to play, despite nursing a hairline fracture in his ankle. The lively striker scored despite his injury in midweek and is again prepared to take to the field with heavy strapping.

Hull City recently completed the signing of promising winger Cameron Stewart who enjoyed a productive spell on loan from Manchester United. Unfortunately the teenager suffered a knee against Ipswich and could be set for a lengthy lay-off.

On-loan Arsenal prospect Vito Mannone is back in contention following a groin injury but fellow loanee Brad Guzan (Aston Villa) is expected to continue in goal for the Tigers. Hull also secured a loan deal for Leicester defender Jack Hobbs, who is hoping to break into the starting XI.

Forgotten man Jay Simpson is also pushing for a recall after making a goalscoring impact from the bench against Ipswich.
