Former Cardiff City target Andy Robinson has decided to leave Swansea City for Leeds United, ending speculation linking him with the Bluebirds.

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones tried hard to sign Robinson last season, but the midfielder remained at Swansea and helped the Jacks to an excellent season, including promotion to the Championship.

Robinson was interested in a move to Leeds United, but wanted to ensure they were promoted before agreeing to the deal. Swansea pushed him to make his mind up and Robinson has now agreed to join the Yorkshire side.

Cardiff City had been monitoring the situation, with regards to renewing their interest. Now however, we will turn to other targets to replace the outgoing Trevor Sinclair.
