Five of Cardiff City’s team have ended up named in the top 100 for the Champiosnhip in the Actim Index, compiled from statistics over the course of the seasons.

Predictably, top scorer Ross McCormack leads the pack, and scraped into the top 10 by a meagre 3 points.

Roger Johnson came 25th, with Joe Ledley was down in 71st position. Jay Bothroyd came in 81st and defender Kevin McNaughton scraped into the list making it in 96th place.

Players like Chopra and Gyepes probably didn’t play enough times to make the top 100 while arguable (Ledley aside) none of our midfielders deserved a place. Most teams in the top half saw their keepers named but after being represented by Enckelman, Heaton, Konstantopoulos and Taylor – ther was little chance of that for the Bluebirds.

Wolves and Sheff Utd each had 8 players in the top 100 – while Burnley amassed 9. Wolves’ striker Sylain Ebanks-Blake topped the list from Tommy Smith (Watford) and Kevin Doyle (Reading).
