FAW Cup Tie postponed

Cardiff City’s trip to Carmarthen Town in the quarter final of the FAW Premier Cup has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Bad weather over the last few days has made the pitch unplayable and a 5.15pm pitch inspection led to the game being officially cancelled.

Tonight’s games between Newport County and Wrexham and Port Talbot vs Swansea have also fallen foul of the weather but the other quarter final was given the go-ahead.

The matches will be replayed at a later date, more details when available.
