Crazy twist to Koumas deal!

With Cardiff City frantically trying to find the £500k downpayment demanded by West Bromwich for the Koumas transfer, local businessmen have stepped to the fore to buy Koumas for the club.

Local businessmen are being urged to chip in £50k to join a syndicate aimed at securing the money for the transfer and more to help City with his wages. Each member would own a stake in Koumas’ contract and would see their money returned following promotion to the Premiership or following the sale of Koumas.

This unusual tactic has been spearheaded by Giovanni Malacrini, of Giovanni’s restaurant Cardiff and at least 10 others have attended a meeting with the intention of investing.

Everybody involved will be presented with an ‘ownership certificate’ and would be able to call on Koumas for appearances at fund-raising events etc.

The situation is mildly embarrassing but surely no-one will complain if we can wrap up the Koumas deal soon and he can help us to the great season most City fans are anticipating.
