‘Clubman’ Award for Cardiff’s Joe

Cardiff City’s Joe Ledley picked up the ‘clubman of the year’ award last night as the Welsh FA dinner.


The youngster has progressed rapidly in his short career and although only 20, is an experienced and highly skilled member of the Cardiff City first team.


Ledley, able to play left or central midfield and left back, has also been one of the Bluebirds’ best and most consistent players in their horrendous start to this season but it was his impressive feats last season which gained his the clubman accolade.


Ledley started every single league game for Cardiff last year, was rarely substituted and put in some superb performances. His energy, determination and consistency shone through and gained interest from several interested clubs.
