Cheer Up Cardiff City !!!

With the doom and gloom surrounding the club at the moment, it is easy to forget how far Cardiff City Football Club has come in such a short space of time.

The debt problem looks to have been solved, in the short term at least. We have an astute businessman in charge in Peter Ridsdale who has a point to prove. The stadium project is on track after years of talking and now we are seeing positive action in the arrival of bulldozers on site.

Money has been available and we have seen some good players arriving at Ninian Park. Peter Whittingham has impressed and is still adjusting to regular action never mind the Championship. Matt Green looks to have pace and potential and the quad has more depth than at any other time in years.


Couple to that the magnificent form and results shown by the team in early season, and Bluebirds fans should be delighted with a great season.

Of course it’s disappointing to have lost such a good position and to have missed out on the play-offs, but we’re not ready for the Premiership and would not have expected to have been challenging so hard before the season.

We have some good players, plenty of youth and have uncovered a gem in Michael Chopra. A snip at £400k, the Geordie has now signed a new deal with the Bluebirds and we are guaranteed a fair price if he were to leave.



I’ve supported Cardiff City through thin and thinner, and will continue to do so. I can honestly say that at this moment in time, we are better off than any other time in decades and we are rising the crest of a big Blue wave – long may it continue!!!
