Cardiff’s Fowler ‘Out For Season’

It seems that 32 year old striker Robbie Fowler is out for the rest of the season and will manage just 16 appearances for Cardiff City this campaign.

Fowler has had injections on a hip injury in Germany, before flying to America for a further operation. The damage was more severe than expected and the player looks set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Its a big blow with the wages he’s picking up, and that the man though to spearhead our strikeforce will play no further part.

What a total farce this whole episode has been. Perhaps Ridsdale would ask one of the wealthiest men in Britain (let alone in football!) whether he could lend us a few quid until we get our desperate finances sorted out?

This is why he should have been ‘pay-as-you-play’. The package offered to him by other clubs was mostly based on appearances and goals bonuses, we were the only ones daft enough to pay him to sit on the treatment table!

ouch, big loss…or is he not at the same standard as he used to be?)
