Cardiff’s Fowler Completes Hip Op

Cardiff City’s veteran striker Robbie Fowler has had the hip operation he required after flying to the United States for specialist treatment.


Cardiff fans were led to believe Fowler was fixed and ready for action after a number of injections to the troublesome hip proble, when the former Liverpool FC legend flew to Germay last month for treatment.


Now however, Fowler has had further surgery on the problem, which would have been necessary at the end of the season anyway. The decision to undergo the operation now was made after Fowler suffered another injury setback with a leg injury in training.


The work is intended to aid Robbie’s movement, one of the problems hindering his impact at Cardiff City so far. Hopefully, the injury problems are behind him now and when he returns to first team action, we can see the sort of form he was brought to he club to showcase.
