Cardiff City manager was banished to the stands for the second half of the draw with Narsley after a non-penalty decision left the former Wolves and Stockport County man enraged:

‘The non-penalty was a decision which changed the game even though it was only 0-0 at the time.’

‘I thought we totally dominated and should have won the game and that decision has cost us.’

‘Full credit to Barnsley but they kept going and, while we gave them hope, we gave them a chance to get back into it. We needed to up the tempo after our goal and make it two-nil.’

Welshman Siomon Davey was pleased with his Barnsley FC players:

‘We coped with two players who have proven Premiership quality.’ (Hasselbaink & Fowler)

‘Although they got one goal I thought we kept them out superbly, especially in the second half.’
