Cardiff City have succeeded in bringing another new goalkeeper into the club before the season starts after acquiring the services of Middlesborough keeper Ross Turnbull on a season long loan.
The 22-year-old has appeared twice in the Premiership for Boro and is highly rated. At 6ft 4ins, he fits Dave Jones’ preferred mould of a dominant, commanding goalie and will compete with Michael Oakes and David Forde for the number 1 jersey
Turnbull has enjoyed a loan spell at Crewe last season making 29 appearances in Coca-Cola league 1, he has also been on loan at Bradford, Darlington and Barnsley.
