Cardiff City’s experienced wideman Kevin Cooper has joined League 2 Walsall on loan.
Cooper, 32, has failed to break into the Bluebirds first team this season after impressive performances from the likes of Ledley, Whiitingham and Paul Parry restricting the former-Wolves player’s chances.

Cooper joined Yeovil Town for a short spell earlier this season and returned to Cardiff to play an important part in Cardiff City’s comeback to beat Carmarthen Town in the FAW Premier Cup recently. Nevertheless, Cooper is unlikely to force his way into Dave Jones’ team and has joined Walsall.

Walsall have impressed this season and are looking a good bet for promotion to Coca-cola league one. Manager Richard Money is hoping that Cooper can add experience and added creative quality to his side in this important part to the season.
